From 1841 to 1843, Danish botanist Frederik Liebmann collected more than 300 species of ferns while botanizing in Mexico. This volume includes an English translation of Liebmann's work. Also included is a meticulously prepared account of Liebmann's travels in Mexico and a gazetteer of cited localities.
