Abstract
Two new species, Cycas mindanaensis and C. flabellata, from Mindanao, Philippines, are described and illustrated. These are compared with C. edentata, C. lacrimans, and C. sancti-lasallei, which are also found within this second largest island in the archipelago. Conservation status of the species are assessed as threatened, mainly by anthropogenic activities.
