Baby Radicchio Blend
Radicchios are compelling little plants: they present in various leaf-shapes, different degrees of rosy coloration, varying levels of bitterness to the flavor. This blend of all of the above allows you to sample an array of forms, all pulled from the latest breeding work by the Italian radicchio breeders known as Smarties.bio. CBN has been singing the praises of this vegetable for several years with the catchy (and true!) slogan "Bitter is Better". Who wants a salad without any kick? Toss in a handful of radicchio leaves and you'll know for sure you're getting your vitamins. Though suitable for both spring and fall cultivation, the fall crop is a degree less bitter and more colorful when young. Feel free to let some of the young plants to continue on to maturity; the coloration and character increase as the plants get bigger.
