A Survey of Foliar Flavonoids in the Aceraceae. Mem (54)
Regular price
$10.00
Flavonoid compounds are synthesized by all members of the Aceraceae (Maple family) in its two genera: Acer with 180 species; and Dipteronia with two species. This treatment presents a survey of the kinds and distributions of flavonoid compounds in the leaves of species of Aceraceae, their usefulness in delimitation of infrageneric taxa, and their contribution as indicators of phylogenetic relationships within the Aceraceae. Inlcudes black and white illustrations.
